Caroline Ausserer is a free lance journalist, moderator and certified diversity trainer with focus on EU-policy, human rights, LGBTIQ*, migration and gender in Berlin/Germany. She has been involved in LGBTIQ* activism for many years, in particular as assistant at the European Parliament and with the European Parliament’s LGBT Intergroup. Since 2016 she ist part of the board of NELFA (Network of European LGBTIQ* Families Associations), which she supports with her knowledge on European mechanisms and institutions, and she’s the liaison person for the next International Family Equality Day (IFED) and the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT).

Agnes Hubert has been a Journalist and then a Policy maker as a senior civil servant in the European Commission and an occasional academic, writing and teaching on gender in the EU until 2014. Since then she is a professor on gender and social inequalities at the College of Europe, an associate researcher at PRESAGE, the gender programme of Science Po, and a founding member of the first European Feminist Think Tank: Gender5plus (http://gender5plus.eu/). She is the author of a book on “l’Europe et les femmes , identités en mouvement”Ed Apogée and many academic contributions. In 2016 she co-authored : “integrating gender into EU economic governance, Oxymoron or opportunity” and “20 years of EU gender mainstreaming: rebirth out of the ashes”
